Pickled Peppers

When we got ready to leave Utah last week Delaina loaded us up with a few things from her garden. One thing just for Dad was a bag full of peppers. Yesterday I pickled my peppers with some onions and carrots and a clove of garlic. They look very ummie but it said to let them cure for awhile so I'll have to let you know later. Thanks Delaina. Love you guys.
The Peppers filled 5 pint jars with the onions and carrots.

Utah Trip

Here is the reason for our trip to Utah. Lynlee Kay Whimpey. Grandma just loves her grandchildren and she really loves the new borns.

Her big sister just loves to give her kisses.

We really had a great time and now that I'm home and rested I can say it was really wonderful. Thanks Kenneth & Delaina for putting up with us for about a week.

Utah Trip

Ask a two year old to make faces for the camera and there is no telling what you'll get but here's a few.

Utah Trip

I went one evening to Garrett's soccer practice and watched them go for a whole hour.

This is a toe tapping drill one foot then the other.

Utah Trip

One evening we went up the canyon to a little park for foil dinners and smores it got dark really fast and so I had to use a flash but here is the Whimpey Family.

You can see that smores put a smile on everyones face.

The lights were extremely yellow without a flash but dinner was great.

Garrett was standing by the fire with an unseen friend.

Utah Trip

One night I got the idea to go to the Provo Temple to take pictures, because it was going to be a full moon. As you can see the moon didn't make it into the picture. The moon would have come up over the highest part of the mountain and it was a little chilly out and we would have had to wait about another 30 min. so I just let it go at this. We did stop by Iceburg on the way home so it wasn't a total loss.

Utah Trip

This past week we went to Utah to visit Kenneth & Delaina and while we were there I took a drive up Provo Canyon about 10 min. from their house and took a picture of the falls. This was the best shot.
